Holon: One killed, two injured after car collided with wall

An 80-year-old woman was killed and two people were injured when a vehicle collided with a wall in Holon on Sunday, according to Israeli media.

According to the MDA, the accident occurred in an underground parking lot on Naomi Schemer Street in Holon.

A 45-year-old woman was taken to Shamir Medical Center in critical condition while doctors tried to revive her.

An 80-year-old man was evacuated in moderate condition at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon with upper body wounds.

“We arrived at the scene and saw a car that hit a wall and was severely damaged in the front of it,” said MDA medics Daniel Giatt and Naughton Ross.

“The driver was unconscious, not breathing, and had no pulse. We pulled him out of the car and tried to revive him, but were forced to announce his death. An 80-year-old man sat next to the woman. A woman of about 40 years was rescued from the front seat and the rear seats. She was in critical condition, but as soon as we reached the hospital, her condition started deteriorating.”

Police officials reached the accident site and are investigating the incident.
