Every Sunday through September 26 (weather permitting): Mustangs gathering, 6 to 8 p.m., in the parking lot behind McDonald’s, 941 N. Cable Road, Lima. admission is free. All Mustangs are welcome, new, old original or modified. Along with food and drink from the three restaurants, ice cream will also be available for purchase. Sponsored by Mustang Maniaxes of NW Ohio. Saturday, September 18: Delphos Canal Days Festival Car Show, 2 pm to 6 pm, Second and Main Street, Delphos. Registration is $10. Best of Show awards, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Sunday, September 19: 8th Annual “King” Car & Motorcycle Show, Forot Park Pavilion, Lima, 5 p.m., 12-2:30 p.m. with $15 registration, which includes a T-shirt. 12 trophies and 30 plaques will be awarded. Free entertainment featuring Somebody’s Kids and Jeff Davis as well as Richie Crouch, Elvis impersonator with special guest Barney Fife. Fun for the entire family. The proceeds benefit the Salvation Army.

Saturday, October 9: Fifth Annual 696 Customs Halloween Trick or Treat Cruise-In, 2:30-6PM, Main Street, Cairo. Participants are asked to hand out candy, and costumes are optional. There is no registration fee, but donations are accepted. There will be joyrides, food and drink, music, raffles and door prizes. Go ahead to benefit local charities. Saturday, October 16: Downtown Lima Inc. Classic Car Show & Chicken BBQ, 12-4 p.m., at the SW corner of the Allen County Children’s Services parking lot, Spring & Main Streets, Lima. Registration is $10 and runs from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Judgment begins at 1 p.m. and prizes will be presented at 3:45 p.m. Courtesy of Fat Kid BBQ There will be a barbecue chicken dinner.
